After experiencing years of debilitating digestive issues and health challenges, Mira realized the healing strength of food after she learned to eat right – slowly but surely regaining her health.Her recovery and its connection to food and eating made such a powerful impact that she returned to school and earned certification as a Nutrition Educator.
Mira was inspired to share the knowledge she gained on her journey to better health and wrote The Pantry Principle: how to read the label and understand what’s really in your food.The Pantry Principle explains the hidden ingredients lurking on grocery store shelves, presents valuable information that is easy to understand and offers suggestions for healthier choices while encouraging your progress one step at a time.
Mira is passionate about what’s in (and on) our food and how this affects our health. It’s truly not just what you eat, it can be what’s in what you eat as well. Sadly, many of us don’t really know what’s in our food and manufacturers often make this issue as confusing and complicated as possible. There’s so much information available online that can be conflicting, overwhelming, or just plain wrong for your particular body. Mira teaches food-based support for every body to help make lifestyle changes for long-term wellness.
Mira’s mission as The Ingredient Guru is to help people feel balanced, healthy, and to support them as they work to achieve their health goals. Each body is unique, exceptional, one of a kind. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. Through individual consults, public speaking events, and wellness seminars, Mira focuses on education, knowledge, and empowerment coupled with the valuable lessons she learned in her own journey to health to support and encourage us all to eat well and be well.
